Masternaut the international provider of telematics based products and services for the management and control of land and sea based assets, is pleased to announce that Gilbarco, Europe’s foremost petrol pump maintenance organisation, has signed a contact extension for Europe-wide rollout including a further 170 vehicles across the Nordic region.
This extension follows the successful implemented of Masternaut’s telematics solution throughout the 200-strong UK engineer team and Masternaut is now deployed on Gilbarco’s fleet in five countries.
Gilbarco’s service engineers cover a multitude of stations in a large geographical area therefore engineer allocation is critical to the success of the company, both on planned maintenance and reactive jobs. Masternaut provides total vision over the whole business in real-time 24/7.
Steve Towe, Managing Director – Europe, Masternaut said:
“We are delighted to be associated with such a progressive company and contribute to delivering their key missions of quality, delivery, value and innovation. The extension of the contract with Gilbarco illustrates the benefits of Masternaut’s solutions and outstanding customer service. Masternaut is looking forward to broadening our relationship with Gilbarco and help them meet their needs effectively across Europe.”
David Coombe, European Service Director of Gilbarco said:
“The UK installation made dramatic improvements to the competitiveness of our organisation. Following our acquisition of Autotank Group of Tampere, Finland earlier this year we have now deployed Masternaut’s Masternaut across a further four countries. The key drivers behind our move to vehicle based tracking have been to improve engineer productivity; reduce operating costs through better process and planning and provide metrics to manage service level agreements with our customers.”
“The return on investment was proved rapidly in the UK hence our decision to roll out in Europe. Masternaut’s solutions have given Gilbarco quick wins on cost reduction through increased engineer optimisation and strategic allocation of resources.”
