Masternaut Launches Individual Road Speed Reporting for Masternaut Duty of Care Solution
Masternaut has launched SpeedSafe, a new individual road speed management-reporting tool for its Masternaut’s Duty of Care solution. The new module enables managers to enforce work related road safety – a key requirement of the Health & Safety (Offences) Act – and is part of a series of new product releases from Masternaut for its flagship Masternaut software.
SpeedSafe creates driver performance reports that assign points to drivers based on instances of speeding – with severe infractions accruing more points. These totals are then ranked on a monthly basis and can be broken down in any way the manager requires – for example by days of the week – to drill down into driver performance forming a key component of corporate risk management.
Following the Crown Prosecution Service announcement in May of this year of the first charge for Corporate Manslaughter under the new Corporate Manslaughter Act¹ employee risk management and Duty of Care remains high on the corporate agenda – particularly work related road-safety where the risks are highest.
